Need Scope/This Posted On Local Hunting Board
 

This was posted on a local site that I frequent. (No, I don't personally know the fellow...just sounds like a good guy to me)

Please help me find this scope for a very sick hunter!

I am on a mission to locate a scope for my best friend, my hunting partner, my mentor......my father. For the last 4 years my father has battled back cancer day in and day out. We nearly lost him 3 times in the last month due to a nasty staff infection that attacked his heart. The infection was most likely brought on by a weakened immune system due to years of chemo treatments. I don't know how many more hunts or fishing trips we have together but I'd like to make them all the best I can. I believe I could really bring some joy to his life by finding a scope to replace the loss of his favorite one. He always talks about how he misses his Vintage Weaver K6 with a Dot Reticle. I always thought it funny that a guy who owns some of the nicest scopes ever manufactured pines for the loss of his cheapest.

So please, PLEASE help me locate one of these scopes. It's very important that it has the Dot Reticle.


I would be most appreciative to anyone who can help me locate it prior to his birthday this month on the 28th.
